Hello, my name is Adam Fales, and I am a Teaching Fellow in the Humanities at the University of Chicago. I study nineteenth-century US literature, with a focus on the history of the law, race, gender, and sexuality, and I teach courses on these topics as well as in the Core Curriculum at the University of Chicago. For a number of years, I was an editor at Chicago Review.
